Japlan’s Crop protection sector supports the above and also in managing disease, weeds and insects of a wide range of crops that are cultivated. To achieve best results, the cluster comprises importing, formulating and distributing a range of agro chemicals comprising weedicides, fungicides, pesticides, plant stimulants and fertilizers. Japlan is a leading private sector player in the Agri input market. The current product range has been servingthe agricultural needs of the country for more than three decades, through supplies from world renowned manufacturers and suppliers, mainly from Japan. A majority of the products are branded and specific products.
Japlan was established as a Joint Venture in 2016, with the Vision of distributing Agra inputs that are necessary for plant protection and crop production in Sri Lanka.
